Emê Pham
Bio
Emê Pham is a Vietnamese-American opera singer and musical theater actress who earned her B.M. in Vocal Performance from Chapman University. She is currently earning her Master's in Music at NYU for Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Music Theatre. She has trained with Broadway artists such as Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked), Elena Shaddow-Harrington (The Light in the Piazza) and the cast of The Phantom of the Opera. Emê specializes in lyric soprano repertoire and a wide range of musical theater repertoire, from legit to contemporary. She has performed leading roles in school operas and musical theater shows. She won 1st place in the NATS NYC Chapter in 2023.
In the summer of 2023, Evelyn produced and starred in the sold-out "Emê: Seeds of Hope Concert" showcasing emerging performing artists in her Vietnamese-American community. She also started a scholarship fund to encourage talented Vietnamese-American students to pursue a career in the arts. She connects with her roots through performing Vietnamese songs for her community and hopes to inspire support for Vietnamese performers. She believes increasing Vietnamese representation in the performing arts will strengthen pride in her community.
